Random Picker
Generate random numbers, pick winners from a list of names, flip a coin or roll dice. Fair, instant and private.
Four tools in one
- Number: pick one or many random numbers between any two values, with or without repeats. Ideal for raffles, lottery-style draws and choosing a page or question number.
- Pick from a list: paste names or items, one per line, and draw one or more winners. Tick Remove picked names to draw again without repeats, or Shuffle the whole list to put everyone in a random order, for example for presentation order or team rotas.
- Flip a coin: flip one coin or up to 100 at once and see the heads and tails count.
- Roll dice: roll up to 20 dice with 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20 or 100 sides, with the total added up for you.
Is it really random and fair?
Yes. The picker uses your browser’s cryptographically secure random generator, the same kind of randomness used to create encryption keys, rather than the simpler generator most websites use. It also uses rejection sampling, which removes the tiny bias that can appear when random numbers are squeezed into a range. Every number, name, coin side and die face has exactly the same chance.
Running a fair giveaway
- Export or copy your entries into the list box, one per line. Remove duplicates first if each person should have one entry.
- Choose how many winners you need and press Pick.
- Record your screen or take a screenshot of the result for transparency.
- If a winner does not respond, tick Remove picked names and draw again.
Everything runs in your browser, so your list of names is never uploaded or stored.
